Dear nice day,

It is not that I don't love when you drop by, I would just like a little notice. Had I known you were going to be here today, I would have gotten more rest last night, maybe made a pic-nic basket, gotten my legs waxed so I could put on some shorts so we could go frolic at the beach, which I love oh-so close to but don't get opportunities to enjoy very often.
But now that you are here, put your feet up and linger as long as you can. I am unprepared to make the most of your brief visit, but I will make it as enjoyable as I can.

I just heard the quote of the day. A little boy, maybe 6 years old, intently staring at the owies on his fingers say "Mommy, it's scary that I can fall down."

I seem to be having signs of the throat plague you people have been tossing around. I would say my throat is "scratchy", but really it is kinda pokey and tight. Any of you who have gotten yourselves over this, I need advice now. School starts this week and I need to not get a weak start due to illness AGAIN.
