a.k.a how does THIS affect ME

Don't forget today is Bomb Threat Thursday! One half of our Bomb Threat Tuesday and Thursday week, or as we like to call it, find out were Patricia has to go by before her Beginning Design Concepts class (which are held every Tuesday and Thursday) and stage a bomb threat that crucially effects her getting to class. Tuesday, it was the school library, just 20 minutes before the 3 hour check out limit on a reserve book she had to get back was up. And today, one motivated citizen dubbed "Loony" by a fireman on the scene, accomplished this with zeal, if not style, by holing up in a hotel on Geary and Jones with his bomb, though a news story conflicting with the fireman-on-the-scenes says the bomb was found in a trash can, tying up her route to school and making her just over half an hour late for class. Good effort either way, gang!
Remember, Bomb Threat Tuesdays and Thursdays fall just before and after Wet Wednesdays. The weather has been with us so far this year for this campaign. Wednesdays are the one day of the week Patricia has to trudge her happy ass from the Phelan campus to the Noe Valley campus in just the one hour time allotment between 5:30 and 6:30. The buses are scarce in the evening hours, her stops are uncovered and there is a 5 city block walk from the train stop to the Clipper Street campus. She is also on her way to another art class, Beginning Drawing, so she is greatly encumbered by her boards and supplies. Watching her juggle an umbrella with all this and having her still showing up with all her supplies wet from the water that has seeped through her bags is hilarious fun for the whole family.
Good job this week, everyone, and we can’t wait to see what our wacky participants have lined up next week!
