I didn't even have to use my AK...

... I gotta say it was a good day.
Yesterday, I woke up to the sun shining, got out of bed, and headed to Archery in the park. After a nice sunny morning in the park, we went to Louis and gazed out at the wildlife hunting in the Sutro Baths as we grubbed on Fish & Chips and Chili Dog and very delicious Sourdough bread and minestrone soup.
Last night was nice. I like house (warming) parties as I tend to know and like most of the people there. Not to mention a bunch (but not all) of my favorite girls were there, and when I turned the conversation to the (so I have been told) depressing subjects, they were happy to stay in the conversations about sexism, crazy fundamentalists, etc.
(On that note, I am having a girlie day monday... more info in girl posts later! Just note, there will be making naked girl soup and tea time involved.)
And to my friends who I do not see much anymore because they are used to seeing me at clubs... I am trying to get my life more like it was back when I was happy. Back before I started drinking and clubbing as a survival mechanism. Not that I won't be out and crazy occasionally (probably this saturday for Meat Vs. Death Guild), but I am definitely cutting back on the bad fall-back ritual of nightlife, and doing what I used to love so much. Spending friday nights in bookstores. Going to movies and to coffee. Going to lectures at the Mechanics Library again. And finally making my ass get to a Long Now lecture (I miss them every month). And (hopefully) playing more Venus Needs Men, Samurai, Dust, and other board games.
And this monday, first - naked girl soup, then tea with said girls.
So, if by chance you miss me, call or text or email me. I will be out there, just not in the usual spots.
